  1. In the next 3 years, commercial real estate landlords face around $1.5 trillion in mortgage payments. As of 2021, 88% of these are interest-only loans.. Landlords usually get new loans or sell their property to cover this cost. But with higher borrowing costs now, lenders are hesitant to refinance. This could cause trouble, especially for office building owners, with estimates suggesting 83% may be unable to refinance, leading to potential defaults.

  2. At its recent Worldwide Developers Conference, Apple introduced Vision Pro, a mixed-reality headset that marks its first significant product launch in a decade. Developed over a span of seven years, the headset will be hitting the market early next year with a price tag of $3,499. However, the news didn't spark much enthusiasm among investors, leading to a decline in Apple's shares after initially reaching an all-time high. In contrast, Unity Software announced as a partner in the headset release, saw a considerable stock surge of over 17%.

  3. Goldman Sachs research suggests investors could be facing a brutal decade as high inflation leads to real returns of only 1-3% per year.
