  1. Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, seeks to increase his voting control in Tesla from his current 13% to approximately 25%. He conveyed his discomfort on X about advancing Tesla's AI and robotics without this level of control, suggesting he might build products outside of Tesla if his goal isn't met. Musk has long emphasized the importance of Tesla's AI and robotics division, even asserting that it could surpass the car division in value, reflecting Tesla's evolution beyond being just a car company.

  2. Goldman Sachs reported a strong fourth quarter, with revenue reaching approximately $11.32 billion and earnings per share of $5.48. The company's profits surged by 51%, amounting to over $2 billion, mainly driven by its core asset and wealth management division. However, there were declines in some areas; investment banking revenue dropped by 12% to nearly $1.7 billion, and trading revenue decreased slightly by 2.5% to $4.6 billion. Goldman Sachs also faced challenges in consumer markets, halting new loans on its consumer platform, Marcus, and ending credit card partnerships with Apple and General Motors. Additionally, the company, along with other major banks, paid a substantial one-time FDIC fee related to the regional banking crisis.
