1. Sheryl Sandberg has decided not to seek reelection to Meta's board of directors in May. Joining Facebook in 2008 and later becoming a board member in 2012, Sandberg played a pivotal role in Facebook's growth to a peak market cap of $1 trillion in 2021. She left her role as COO in mid-2022 amidst various controversies facing the company. Since her departure, she has focused on her LeanIn.org nonprofit, dedicated to empowering women in the workplace. Sandberg's departure marks the end of a significant chapter in her professional life and in the history of Meta.

2. Apple faces a temporary ban on the sale of its Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2 models in the U.S. due to a court order. This ban, related to a dispute with medical device company Masimo over blood oxygen sensor technology, had been temporarily halted but is now reinstated. While Apple's appeal is pending, the ban takes effect from Thursday. Apple briefly stopped selling these models in December following the International Trade Commission's initial ruling. The company has reportedly modified its watches to exclude the disputed feature, potentially allowing future sales.
