1. SpaceX’s Starlink has secured a major deal with United Airlines, nearly doubling its in-flight Wi-Fi contracts to 2,500 aircraft. The deal will replace United’s current providers like Viasat and Panasonic. SpaceX’s Nick Galano highlighted Starlink’s vast network of satellites, now offering over 300 terabits per second of capacity, and the company's efforts to simplify antenna installation. SpaceX has already provided Wi-Fi to airlines such as Hawaiian and Qatar Airways, expanding its services across various markets since Starlink's 2020 debut.

2. Political donations from the crypto sector total around $190 million, nearly doubling from previous cycles. Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss are the largest individual crypto donors in the 2024 election cycle, contributing a combined $10.1 million. Key figures from Ripple Labs, Coinbase, and Kraken also contributed significantly, supporting both Republican and Democratic candidates. Pro-crypto PACs like Fairshake are gaining prominence, while crypto spending this election cycle is more balanced between both parties compared to past cycles when FTX and its founder dominated contributions.
